Reopened to public in 1986, L'atelier du cuivre has won its bet through its concept of teaching visits. More than 30 000 visitors come each year.

Etienne Dulin fell in love with this workshop doomed to be destroyed. Thanks to his passion to save old handicrafts, he and his team have given life to the workshop.

You can admire the craftsmanship and the old tools of the polishers, weld smiths, tinsmiths, and hammer smiths.

In front of you we make pans, jam preservation pans, decorative objects, statues, imitations of antiques and other objects… and this in the best of tradition. All this production had been dropped off because it was too costly. By your visit, you will contribute to keep alive this craftsmanship.

We restore all sorts of copper, tin objects as well as gold pieces. Our Paris workshop is specialized in creating and restoring silver ware and silver plated ware. Our workshop at Villedieu-les-Poêles shows pure copper objects. We are 30 minutes from Mont Saint Michel.
